-This jacket is cut in a signature vintage Yohji shape with over-wide structured shoulders and a long body. Fully lined and adorned with metal purse details at the breast and waist pockets, the jacket imbues the wearer with a  beautiful irreverence. It contentiously juxtaposes a masculine silhouette with markers of feminine luxury and glamour, as to say the wearer isn't preoccupied with this sort of gendered ambiguity. 

-The traditionally 80s square-shouldered cut of the jacket is contrasted with a slightly dropped button-stance, quite normally-sized notch lapels, and the even smaller-scale intricate purse detailing. This variation of scale and play with proportion gives the jacket a purposely 'imbalanced' visual appearance. Yohji's subtle subversion of traditional menswear and tailoring codes is in full effect in this piece and it makes for a beautifully off-kilter yet wearable garment.

-Crafted from Yohji's signature dense wool gabardine. Connoisseurs will know that there are different handfeels across seasons. This one reads as incredibly smooth, almost wet, and without much fuzz.
